Our Mission

We are changing the narrative and ending the stigma by providing access to educational cannabis content and advocating its discussion

John O. Clark III was born on July 5th, 1993 in St. Louis, Missouri. At the age of 7 he was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes. This dramatically effected his preteen and teenage life. To complicate matters, at the age of 19 he was diagnosed with Gastroparesis, a rare condition that prevents the proper digestion of food in the stomach. The combination of Gastroparesis and Diabetes causes complications like reflux, nausea, vomiting, trouble controlling blood sugar, poor appetite, and weight loss. John found some comfort by treating these symptoms with cannabis.

On March 4th, 2018 John went to the hospital in extreme pain and discomfort. Due to John being classified as a drug abuser in the hospital’s system, he was refused medical attention . John was sent home, where he lost his fight against his illnesses, hours later, that same day. John was loving, loyal, and hilarious. He was known for dancing, towing or helping people on the road, and entertaining everyone in any room he entered.

To this day, he is so loved. 07.05.1993 - 03.04.2018

The education and resources we provide are a tribute to those who have suffered at the hands of an unjust legal system due to cannabis prohibition and criminalization targeted at America’s black and brown communities.

Cannabis use is often hidden and rarely discussed although it is fully legal in 15 states and medicinal in another 28. Having discussions about cannabis can be scary and uncomfortable, however these conversations are required in order for us to change the narrative and end the stigma. The negative  stereotype of the typical cannabis user needs to change into what we define as the new normal. Today’s cannabis users are business professionals, parents, athletes, your friends, family, and neighbors.
